Has anyone else been following the case of Jassiah Armstrong in Goldsboro? I just read some updates, and I'm curious about why they are considering this an accidental shooting. I'm struggling to comprehend how something so tragic could happen almost out of nowhere, and it must be unbelievably hard for Jassiah's family and friends to cope with the lack of clarity. I wasn't close to him, but I knew of him through a mutual friend. People always speak highly of his sense of humor and the way he cared for those around him. It’s frustrating when the public reports leave so much unknown, and the fact that it's still under active investigation probably means we won't get answers anytime soon. This whole thing got me thinking about how these incidents emphasize the importance of firearm safety and awareness. It seems like something really needs to change so more young lives aren't lost this way. I hope his family is finding some support in the community gatherings and the outpouring of love around his service. If anyone in the area wants to chat about ways to help support his family or push for better safety efforts, let me know. Perhaps some good can come from such a terrible event.
