I’ve been following the case of Rashaun Hopkins's tragic death on April 9, 2026, and something I keep coming back to is the bold nature of the crime. A daylight shooting in such a populated area like the Upper West Side, in front of an apartment building, really has me wondering about the motive. It’s almost as if the killer didn’t care about getting caught, or possibly, they were sending a message. I can’t imagine the pain Rashaun’s family and friends are going through, especially knowing that the suspect is still out there. If anyone has insights about similar cases in the area or potential motives, it could really help in shedding some light on this. Hoping justice is served soon and Rashaun's loved ones find some peace in the midst of this tragedy.
