It's incredibly difficult to wrap my head around the senselessness of this crime. Jesse Finney's life was cut short in such a brutal way, and my heart truly goes out to his friends and family who are left to grapple with this unimaginable loss. What really sticks with me about this case is the weaponry involved—an AR-15 style assault rifle. In a city like Seattle, with all its complexities and challenges, it's chilling to think about the presence of such firepower being used in crimes like this. It makes me question what can be done on a larger scale to prevent weapons like these from ending up in the wrong hands and causing such irreversible damage. Does anyone have more insight into ongoing community efforts addressing this type of gun violence?
