Attended the vigil for Kendrick English last night, and it was truly a moving experience. Seeing the community come together to celebrate his life was powerful. It's clear he touched many lives with his positivity and resilience. What stands out to me is the bewildering series of events on that fateful night. I can’t help but wonder what additional safety measures the venue could have taken to prevent such altercations from escalating. It’s deeply troubling to think about how quickly a celebratory night turned tragic. Hoping for justice for Kendrick and strength for his loved ones as they navigate through this unimaginable time. May his memory instill the resilience and positivity he was known for.
