I've been following the Victoria Alexander case closely, and something that really sticks with me is the role of social media leading up to this tragic event. It's unnerving to think how Brandon Alexander’s disturbing TikTok videos might have offered a glimpse into what he was planning, yet perhaps no one realized the seriousness in time. It's easy to look back now and think about reaching out when someone appears to be struggling online, but what about in real-time? Victoria's friends, family, and colleagues are now left with an unimaginable loss. It’s a heavy reminder that we never truly know what someone else is going through or what’s behind their seemingly cryptic posts. Sending thoughts and strength to those who loved her.
