I've been following Omar's case closely, and something keeps bothering me about the location of the shooting. I know the 7-Eleven on Bess Avenue is a common hangout spot for the local youth, but why would Omar and those two other men choose to be there at 5:10 a.m.? It seems such an odd time and place unless they had some reason to gather or if it was just a coincidence. It's devastating to think about Omar’s young life being taken so abruptly, especially when he had a baby that will now grow up without a father. I’m hoping that anyone who was nearby or saw something will step forward, even if it seems insignificant. Every detail can be crucial in helping detectives piece together what happened. Omar's family, especially his child, deserves answers and justice. Thoughts with them during this incredibly tough time.
