I can't stop thinking about the role community surveillance might have played in this case. With so many apartment complexes using security cameras these days, you'd think there would be footage to help piece together what happened to Nathaniel Carl Mendez-Ma that tragic day. Was any surveillance footage retrieved from the surrounding area at 6060 Gulfton Street? It's frustrating to think that something as simple as a camera angle could make the difference in getting justice swiftly. My heart goes out to Nathaniel's family and friends. It's devastating to lose someone to violence like this, and I hope they find some solace in the support from the community. Does anyone know if the police have requested additional footage or if residents in the area have been asked to come forward with any recordings? Every little bit could help.
