Hi all, I've been following the tragic events in Skidmore, and my heart goes out to the families of Karen Babcock and Liberty Moore. It’s hard to imagine the pain the community is going through right now. One aspect that’s been on my mind is the role of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control in this investigation. It's fairly unusual for them to be involved in local cases unless there are special circumstances, right? Their quick response and the swift apprehension of Keevin Maupin seems to indicate that there was some urgency or complexity to the situation. Does anyone have insights into what their involvement might suggest about the case or the suspect's profile? My thoughts are with those who knew and loved these women.
