I've been following this case closely and can't seem to wrap my head around it. Does anyone know why she might have been left behind once she got sick? It must have been terrifying to be alone and unwell in such a remote area. I wonder if the group discussed doing something to help her but felt they couldn't for some reason. Are there any reports about the group's actions after they left her? It seems odd that no one tried to double back or have someone notify authorities. I hope she’s found safe soon, it's so troubling not knowing what really happened out there. Thoughts?
