One aspect of this tragic situation that keeps weighing on my mind is how Jamillah Gales' little boy is going to cope with all of this. He’s just two years old and already has faced such a traumatic event. I can’t imagine the confusion and fear he must have felt in those moments when he was separated from his mother. It’s reassuring to know he was found unharmed, but it’s going to take a village to help him heal emotionally from this devastation. I’m hoping the child gets the support and care he needs, whether it's from extended family or child services. Does anyone know if any charities or organizations are stepping in to help families impacted by violent crimes like this one? It's so hard to think about the journey this little guy will have ahead of him and how it's due to senseless violence. My heart goes out to him and all those who loved Jamillah. The ripple effects of this are immense.
