Hi everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of I'sis Garza, and one thing that really stood out to me was the behavior of the suspect, David Dewayne Horn Jr., immediately after the shooting. It's unsettling how he allegedly admitted to the shooting during the traffic stop. From what I've read, it seems he waived his right to an attorney and gave his version of events quite readily. What do you all think about his decision to talk to the investigators without legal representation? It seems like such a critical mistake legally speaking—one that really comes across as either arrogance or naivety. In cases like these, suspects often end up digging their own graves by speaking too soon. I can't imagine the pressure and confusion of the moment, but it's curious how candid he appeared to be right after such a horrific event. My heart really goes out to I'sis's family. Navigating this tragedy must be incredibly difficult. It’s just all so deeply saddening and infuriating at the same time. Would love to hear what others think about this aspect of the case.
