I can't shake the feeling of sadness thinking about Marcus Clay's tragic death at Hot Shot Liquor. It’s just so unnerving knowing that an ordinary errand can turn into a horrifying event in the blink of an eye. I’ve been following news from Jackson and it’s disturbing how something as minor as an argument could escalate to such a degree. My thoughts are with Marcus's family and friends as they navigate this senseless tragedy. Also, I can't stop thinking about the cashier who witnessed the shooting. Even if he wasn’t physically harmed, experiencing such trauma can have lasting effects. I hope he gets the support he needs during this tough time. And the community, too—what a heavy burden to carry. Everyone, please stay safe out there and look out for one another.
