Hey everyone, I wanted to contribute some thoughts about that tragic event outside Zebulon. It's deeply unsettling how what was meant to be a joyful end-of-semester gathering turned into a scene of chaos. I heard there was a lot of security around the actual party area at Todd Park, which initially gave folks peace of mind. But it makes me wonder—how did things break down so badly once people started heading back to their cars? The parking fields seem to have been a bit of a no-man's land in terms of security, and that gap might have played a part in the tragedy. With such a big crowd, you’d think organizers or even attendees might have considered safety measures throughout the whole area earlier on. Especially in large, unofficial gatherings like these, the lack of planning can be a huge risk. It's just so hard to imagine what it must have been like for everyone caught up in that chaos. I hope those who attended are able to support each other and that any witnesses come forward with information that helps the investigation. My heart goes out to Lemonz’s family and friends, as well as to the others who were injured. It breaks my heart thinking about what they’re all going through right now. Let's hope some answers and accountability come soon.
