I've been following the recent case in Canadian Lakes, and something that's really been on my mind is the role Thomas had as a caretaker for his parents. It seemed like he was devoted to looking after Betty and George, which makes this all the more puzzling and tragic. It's hard to wrap my head around how someone in that role could potentially be involved in something so devastating. Family dynamics can be incredibly complex, and sometimes hidden pressures or struggles may not be obvious to outsiders. I wonder if there were any signs of stress or struggle that might have gone unnoticed by others, even close family or friends. It breaks my heart thinking about what must have been happening behind closed doors. My thoughts are with all of their loved ones who are bound to be grappling with so many unanswered questions and immense grief. I hope they can find some peace and understanding in this incredibly tough time.
