Has anyone else noticed how often cases like Jocelyn Turcios's seem to get overlooked because they're labeled as "custodial interference"? It's like once that term is thrown in, people assume it's just a domestic issue rather than a serious abduction. Just because the abductor is the child's mother doesn't make it any less severe. Jocelyn's case is so tragic, and I can't help but think there might be more tips out there if the public was more aware from the start. I really hope that the authorities continue to keep pressure on this case and don't let it fall through the cracks just because it's been so many years. The fact that her mom might have taken her to Mexico complicates things massively, but it doesn't mean we should give up hope. We need to find a way to make sure these cases are given the same attention as any other missing person's investigation. Has there been any recent news or updates? Keeping her and her family in my thoughts.
