I recently came across the case of Avery Stone, and it's deeply unsettling to think about the lack of closure for his family. It's been over a decade, and I'm curious about the steps the Buffalo Police might have taken over the years to keep the public informed. Living in a community that's also struggling with gun violence, I understand how crucial communication from law enforcement is for maintaining public trust and engagement. If anyone here is from the Buffalo area or has experience with similar cases, do you know if there have been any recent efforts to revive interest in unsolved cases like Avery's? Every little bit of awareness can help, and I can't imagine how important that is for his family and friends still looking for answers.
I recently came across Avery Stone's case from 2007 while looking into unsolved murders in Buffalo, and it's just so puzzling how little information there is. Has anyone else noticed that many cases from around that time seem to fade into the archives? Avery was only 26 and had his entire life ahead of him. It makes me think of his family and how they must feel after all these years without answers. It's deeply concerning that there's been no resolution to his case or others like it. I wonder, is it a lack of resources or media attention that's leaving these cases in the dark? It’s really important to keep these stories alive so that one day, hopefully, justice can be served. If anyone has insights on how the community can support efforts to bring more attention to such cases, I'd love to hear them.
I was reading up on Avery Stone's case and it just makes me wish more people knew about it. It's really sad how many of these cases seem to just fade away over time. Avery was so young and had his entire life ahead of him. Buffalo has seen its fair share of struggles with gun violence, but these cases need more coverage and attention. Does anyone know if there were any community efforts or vigils held for Avery after his death? I feel like sometimes keeping the memory alive can help push for the answers that these families and friends desperately need. Just hoping someone out there remembers or hears something that could finally bring some peace.
