I think it's so important to focus on the safety of the community right now. It’s deeply unsettling to hear about the shooting that took place on Georgia Avenue. Knowing that the officers were nearby but still couldn’t prevent this tragedy adds another layer of concern. I can't even begin to imagine what Demarco Lyles’ family and friends are going through. They all deserve answers and justice. One thing that really stands out to me is the fact that this happened in such a populated area and yet there seems to be little information available about a suspect. It makes you wonder if there are witnesses who might not even realize what they've seen or heard could be crucial to the investigation. With the reward being offered, I'm hopeful that someone will come forward with information. I believe this is a reminder for everyone in the community to stay vigilant and look out for one another. If anyone knows anything, even if it seems minor, it’s worth sharing with the authorities. Let's help bring some peace to Demarco’s loved ones and make our neighborhood safer for everyone.
