Wow, this one really hits close to home for the community in Santa Ana. I've been following a lot of similar cases, but it never gets any easier hearing about another life lost to gun violence. My heart goes out to John Albert Guillen's family and friends who must be dealing with unimaginable pain right now. I’ve been thinking about the time of day this happened—broad daylight, just past noon—and it really concerns me how brazen people are becoming. It’s especially troubling that it happened in a public space while John was simply getting into his vehicle. Does anyone know if there were any security cameras in the vicinity that may have caught something useful? I understand the police are looking for witnesses, but video footage often helps piece together critical moments too. I really hope they catch whoever is responsible for this senseless act. It’s hard to feel safe when things like this keep happening so unexpectedly. Stay safe out there everyone, and let's keep sharing any info that might help bring justice for John.
