It’s really puzzling how Gregory's car was found locked near Clare, Iowa, but his keys were missing. That detail has bugged me from the start. I mean, if it was abandoned by him willingly, why not just take his coat, too? That area isn’t exactly bustling, and leaving a car so well-secured feels off if you’re in a rush or worried about, say, someone chasing you. Plus, after that boast about making a lot of money, was there someone who would actually believe he had it and try to take it from him? Sometimes I wonder if someone he trusted might've known more about his whereabouts that day than they let on. What do you guys think about that? Could it be someone got greedy after hearing about the meth stash he supposedly had?

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Gregory John Howell’s case, and something keeps nagging at me. The car situation feels off, right? It was found near Clare with his coat inside but the keys missing. Why would someone take the keys and leave the coat if it was a planned disappearance or an accident? Also, Clare isn’t exactly a high-traffic area, so it seems like an odd spot to just leave a car. I’m wondering if perhaps Gregory trusted the wrong person? He had just come back from California with that methamphetamine and was talking about getting money. Maybe this wasn't about a drug deal gone wrong but something else - like maybe he had a partner in crime who decided double-crossing was the best option? It’s just so puzzling. I don’t think the car was randomly left there, and the missing keys might mean someone else knows more. Thoughts? Anyone here familiar with similar cases or have insights on the area? Stay safe, – CuriousSleuth123

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been following Gregory Howell's case for a while. I find it puzzling how his car was found so neatly abandoned and locked in Clare. It seems like whoever left it there was in a hurry, but also wanted to make sure it wasn't easily accessed. What bugs me is the coat being left behind – Iowa in January is no joke! If there was foul play involved, you'd think someone would have taken the car to throw off investigators, right? And the missing keys... it's almost like someone wanted to leave it behind without a trace of how they got away. Anyone else think this points to someone close to him, or maybe a bad deal that went even worse? Hope the family eventually gets the answers they need. Would love to hear your thoughts on the abandoned car situation!
