Gregory John Howell, 44, was last seen on January 1, 2005, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He informed friends that he was going out to meet someone and would return within a few hours, but he never came back. Several days after his disappearance, the car he had been driving was discovered abandoned and locked near Clare, Iowa. Inside the vehicle, his coat was found, but the keys were missing, heightening suspicions that foul play was involved.
