It really breaks my heart to read about what happened to Kiambria Young. The thing that stands out to me is how this could happen in a place where kids play outside and neighbors chat over fences. Her daily routine of letting her kids ride their scooters after a long day at work paints a picture of the kind of peaceful life so many of us take for granted. I just can't stop thinking about those kids. Losing a parent in such a sudden and violent way is something no child should have to endure. I hope the community comes together to support them and provide some sense of stability and love during this trying time. Kiambria seems like she was a shining light in a harsh world. Also, I’m really concerned about the bigger picture here. The community is understandably on edge, not feeling safe in their own homes anymore. It's an awful feeling when you can't trust that your neighborhood is a safe haven. I pray for some change and peace for everyone affected in Albany. These acts of violence have to stop.
