I’ve been following the case of Michael D. Jenkins' tragic death, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. The whole community must be reeling from such a shocking event right in their backyard. I can't wrap my head around how things like this happen between people who lived under the same roof. What was the dynamic in that household? It’s just devastating to think of someone losing their life at the hands of someone they knew. The fact that the authorities are pretty certain it was an isolated incident suggests there might have been tension that we’re not aware of. Has anyone heard anything more about their relationship or what could have led to this awful turn of events? It's so important we remember there's pain on both sides, and justice needs to be served while giving space to heal.
