Hi everyone, I've been reading through all the posts about Noah Cheeseman, and I wanted to mention something about the neighborhood where this terrible incident took place, Lafayette Square Apartments. I’ve heard from folks who live nearby that it’s generally a peaceful community, where people know their neighbors and look out for each other. The residents are understandably shaken after the shooting. As someone who grew up around Williamsburg, it’s really unsettling to think a place many consider safe has been touched by such violence. My heart goes out to Noah’s family, friends, and everyone in that community. I hope they find some peace and can feel the support from all of us out here who are thinking of them. Have any locals noticed increased police presence or measures taken by the community to prevent something like this in the future? Hoping we can have a talk about how neighborhoods can come together after such tragedies. Stay safe, everyone.
