CODY BAYER Missing Person Case

Cody Bayer, a 14-year-old boy, went missing on September 25, 2024, from Jacksonville, Florida. Cody was last seen at Jacksonville Beach, where he was reported swimming in the ocean. The Jacksonville Beach Police, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and U.S. Coast Guard initiated a multi-agency search, involving air and marine units, as well as lifeguards and helicopters, to locate the missing teen. Unfortunately, due to rough sea conditions and high rip current warnings, the search was challenging, and it ultimately turned into a recovery effort after no trace was found of Cody. The search was eventually suspended, but Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue continues their efforts to locate him.
