Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Otavis Gerquel McKinnon’s tragic death, and something that stands out to me is the impact this case must be having on the local community in Goldsboro. This neighborhood, by many accounts, is typically a peaceful place, and this kind of violence understandably shakes up residents. I can't help but think about how that night might have felt for people living nearby—waking up to the sound of gunshots and sirens, and then finding out someone from their community was killed. The trauma and unease this causes can’t be overstated, and my heart goes out to everyone dealing with that fear and uncertainty in the wake of Otavis’s murder. I sincerely hope that anyone who knows anything—even the smallest detail—feels compelled to come forward. The family deserves answers and those in the community deserve to feel safe again. Stay safe everyone, and let's keep this conversation going. Every little piece of information could help solve this crime.
