I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the East Williamsburg community, especially on the other kids who witnessed this horrific event. They will carry the trauma of seeing such violence at such a young age. My heart goes out to Kaori's family and neighbors. It's so distressing to think that a simple walk outside could turn into such a nightmare. I'm relieved that the suspects have been apprehended, and I can't even imagine the pain Kaori's family must be in. I hope the community rallies together to support them and work towards making our streets safer. No family should ever experience such a profound loss.
