I've been following the tragic case unfolding on Latham Avenue, and it's hard to wrap my head around the immense bravery shown by Devonelle Brimage. As a parent myself, I can't even begin to imagine being in that situation and having the presence of mind to try to protect your child when faced with such horrific danger. His actions speak volumes about the kind of person he was—a devoted father willing to sacrifice everything for his child. While it’s a small relief to know the infant is safe, I keep thinking about how this little one will grow up hearing about this act of love and courage, knowing their father gave everything for their safety. It’s a heartbreaking story, and my thoughts are with Avione Linquad Webb as he recovers, hoping he finds strength and support during this difficult time. I hope the investigators make some headway soon, as this family deserves justice. If anyone has credible information, now’s the time to come forward and help the authorities. Healing begins with answers and accountability. Let’s keep this family in our thoughts and do what we can to support the ongoing efforts to find those responsible.
