I'm absolutely devastated to hear about what happened to Alexis Walker. It's truly inconceivable to imagine what her family and friends are going through right now. I wanted to discuss the arrest of the two juveniles involved. Joei Taylor, who's only 16, has been charged with murder, and it just makes me wonder what leads someone so young down such a dark path. It seems like there's still so much we don't know about the motive, and it's hard to comprehend what could drive them to such violence. It's particularly chilling thinking about how close this all happened to the police department. The brazenness of it all is shocking. I really hope that this tragedy will bring about some serious conversations in the community regarding youth violence and safety. As for Travis Scott Jr., being charged as an accessory after the fact at 17 is no small matter either. Both families have a tough road ahead, and my heart goes out to everyone impacted by this senseless violence. Does anyone else think we need more community outreach and support for struggling teens? This might be a sad wake-up call, but it's one that needs our attention.
