Hey everyone, I'm still trying to process the tragic news about Jaydon Jones and my heart goes out to his loved ones. There's been a lot of discussion about how this could have happened, but I've been thinking a lot about the role of gun safety and education, especially for teens. It's chilling that these young kids were "playing all day" with a gun — something that no one should ever take lightly. How do we ensure that guns are kept out of reach of those who aren't equipped to handle them properly? It makes me wonder, was there a lack of awareness or responsibility? I genuinely feel this is an important conversation we need to continue having to honor Jaydon's memory and prevent future tragedies. It's such a devastating loss and I hope somehow, some change can come from it. Would love to hear others' thoughts on what could be done in our communities to prevent this kind of tragedy.
