I've been following the developments in the Tynice Friday case, and one detail that really sticks with me is the incredible bravery shown by her 18-year-old son. It’s hard to imagine the trauma he must have experienced: witnessing such a horrific event and having the presence of mind to call 911 to try and save his mother. It speaks volumes about his character and strength in an unimaginably difficult moment. I truly hope that he and his younger sibling are receiving all the support they need during this devastating time. It's critical for the community to rally around them and ensure that they’re surrounded with love and care from family, friends, and professionals. I can't even begin to fathom how they’re coping, but I am sending them all my thoughts and prayers. Let's continue to keep our discussions centered on justice for Tynice, and support for her kids as they navigate through this tough period.
