I recently came across some of her colleagues' testimonials, and it’s clear she touched so many lives beyond her work at the Department of Homeland Security. The words everyone has shared about her adventurous spirit and passion for helping others paint the picture of someone whose life was all about making the world a better place. It's so unfair that such a vibrant person was taken from all those who knew and loved her. I can’t help but feel for her family, especially her stepdaughter. Losing someone like Lauren must be incredibly difficult to process. I hope they find some comfort in the outpouring of love and support from the community. Does anyone know if there’s been any update from the authorities regarding the motive behind this senseless violence?
