I've been following the tragic events surrounding Daniel Carter's death, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. What I find particularly concerning is the role that social media played in escalating this situation. It’s truly alarming how quickly a video can go viral and fuel more hostility. I can't help but wonder if there’s something we, as a society, should be doing to mitigate the impact of social media on real-life conflicts. The comments and reactions online seem to have intensified the animosity between the groups involved, and it’s heartbreaking to think that perhaps this tragic outcome could have been avoided if things hadn’t spiraled so out of control online. I'm curious if anyone else feels like social media has a bigger impact on these kinds of incidents than we realize, or is there something more that should be done by these platforms to prevent such tragedies?
