Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the location aspect of Arthur Deray Ward's tragic murder in Bakersfield. It's so unsettling to consider that such a violent act happened in an area that many locals probably pass by regularly without a second thought. The Knotts Street and North Baker Street intersection doesn't seem to be a notorious area for crime, does it? It's chilling to imagine how quickly things can escalate in places we often deem safe. Does anyone know if there were any warning signs or incidents in the area before things turned so awful that day? It just feels like identifying any patterns or changes in neighborhood trends could at least serve as a warning to prevent future tragedies. Thinking of Arthur's family and friends during this difficult time. Stay safe, everyone.
