Hey everyone, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Montavion Conrad’s case since I first heard about it. I can't begin to imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. It’s incredibly heavy knowing that a young man with his whole life ahead of him is gone. One thing that’s really been on my mind is how quickly situations like this can escalate from an argument to something so tragic. It sounds like this wasn’t a random act, but something that stemmed from prior tensions. You wonder if anything could have been done to de-escalate it or if someone nearby noticed signs that something was about to happen. It just feels like such a senseless loss over issues that might’ve been resolved differently. My heart goes out to Montavion’s loved ones. I hope they get the justice they need, but more than that, I hope they find some kind of peace in the aftermath of this tragedy.
