I've been following the case of Alexis Diaz-Vasquez, and one of the details that really stood out to me was the use of fake currency. It blows my mind thinking about how something as trivial as prop money, meant for movies, somehow turned into a pretext for murder. It seems so surreal and incredibly sad. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through knowing that his life was taken over such a senseless dispute. You expect these things to maybe happen in fiction, but not in real life. Also, it’s quite impressive how the police used FLOCK camera technology to track down the suspect. It shows you just how advanced investigative techniques have become, helping bring some measure of justice. At least there's some hope that Alexis's family can find peace knowing that the person responsible is no longer free. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this time. It’s such an unimaginable loss.
