I just keep thinking about Xavier and the joy he brought to the neighborhood. His love for football was obvious to anyone who spent even a little time with him. Seeing those candles and flowers put down by the field where he used to play is such a gut-wrenching reminder of his absence. It's unbearable to think how something so senseless could wipe away a future filled with potential. My heart really goes out to his friends who have to process this at such a young age. Watching them gather in their jerseys, trying to make sense of it all, is just so sad. We can't forget that there are so many layers of grief here, and I hope they find some form of support in each other during this terrible time.
