Given the close-knit nature of Bernalillo, it's understandable that the loss of Lawrence "Lencho" Castillo has hit the community hard. My heart goes out to his family and children. As someone who grew up in a small town myself, I know how the news of such a tragedy can ripple through everyone, even those who might not have known the victim personally. I'm curious about the possibility of security cameras near Interstate 25 or in surrounding areas around Avenida Bernalillo. It seems like such an important detail that could potentially help the investigation. Does anyone know if surveillance footage from nearby businesses, homes, or traffic cameras are being reviewed? In many cases like these, even a small piece of footage can make a significant difference in identifying leads or suspects. I truly hope the authorities find the person responsible soon and bring some semblance of justice to Lawrence’s family. They deserve answers and closure during this difficult time.
