I've been following Anthony Chambers' case and something that really strikes me is the role of that local business owner who stepped in during such a chaotic and terrifying moment. It's not every day that you hear about someone with a military background using their training to aid in such a crucial situation here at home. It must have been such an intense experience to witness the event, then to have the presence of mind to jump in and stop the suspect in his tracks. This person's quick thinking truly made a difference. I can't imagine how Anthony’s family and friends feel right now, but knowing there's solidarity and brave actions amidst such tragedy might bring a glimmer of comfort. It's touching to see the community come together to remember Anthony, especially with the vigil at Mud House where he spent so much of his time. It tells us a lot about the impact he had on those around him.
