This case in the Portland neighborhood has really stuck with me, and I feel like we need to keep pushing for answers. I’m curious about the role the ShotSpotter technology played in the timeline of events. Given that the alert came in around 1:20 a.m., I wonder how quickly that information was relayed to LMPD and how fast they were able to respond. It seems like every second could have been crucial for Terry. For those familiar with how ShotSpotter works, does it have a good track record? I know it’s used in many cities, but are there any cases anyone knows about where it made a significant difference, positively or negatively? Maybe sharing success stories from other places could help rekindle hope and encourage more community members to assist in the investigation. My thoughts are with Terry’s loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.
