I'm having such a hard time wrapping my head around what kind of chaos must have been happening for all of this to unfold. I keep thinking about KG's family and the hole that's been left in their lives. Losing a loved one so suddenly and senselessly is unimaginable. And then there's the Kollers. How do you begin to deal with the fact that your child has done something like this, and that you found yourself in a position where you're making the decision to help them run? I can't imagine the horror and confusion in those first moments after the shooting happened. It’s just tragic all around. Seeing this kind of violence erupt over something like a game of pool makes you wonder where we’ve gone so wrong as a society. Sending thoughts to everyone involved, hoping that someday soon, there will be some form of justice or peace they can find.
