I've been reflecting on the City Grill tragedy and can't stop thinking about Robert Dumas and his loved ones. It's difficult to imagine the ripple effects this senseless act of violence has had on so many lives. Especially troubling is how afraid people seemed to be at first to come forward with what they knew. The fear and intimidation witnesses might have faced must have been overwhelming. It's a relief that justice was eventually served, but I can't help but wonder if there's more we could do as a community to ensure people feel safe speaking up in such situations. Supporting each other and fostering a sense of security might help prevent something similar from happening in the future. Sending my thoughts to everyone still healing from this trauma.

The City Grill Massacre has always haunted me, especially thinking about Robert Dumas. It’s chilling to realize how quickly a night out can turn into a nightmare. I recently learned that Robert was known for his kindness and was well-loved by everyone who knew him. It must be devastating for his family to lose someone so unexpectedly and tragically. I read that the police had a tough time at first because witnesses were hesitant to come forward. This makes me wonder how many cases still linger unresolved due to fear or silence. Sending strength to Robert’s family and hoping they find some sense of peace with time.
