Did anyone catch the statement given by Melvontaie Loveless' mom on the local news? My heart goes out to her and the entire Loveless family. It must be unimaginably painful to lose a child in such a violent and sudden manner. She mentioned how Melvontaie had recently started a new job and was planning to go back to school. It's tragic to think about the potential and dreams that were taken away that night on West Front Street. The fact that this happened in such a seemingly small, tight-knit community like Evergreen makes it all the more unsettling. I hope the police can piece together what actually happened and bring justice to both families. It sounds like they're working hard, but I wish they would share more updates with the public.
