Has anyone else been trying to wrap their head around Jesse Nathan Elks' motive in this tragedy? It's just so baffling to me. I've been looking through any reports or updates I can find, hoping for some clue as to why he would take such drastic actions. Was there anything going on in his life that would lead to such a violent outburst? I can’t imagine how Corporal O'Connor's family is coping with such a senseless loss. My heart truly goes out to them. For a man who dedicated 15 years of his life to keeping others safe, this is such a profound loss for his loved ones and the community. If anyone finds more details on the investigation into Elks' background, please share. It's hard to find any peace or understanding in something so devastating.
