I've been following Anthony Watts's case with a heavy heart, and something that's been sticking with me is the fact that community members have said Anthony was trying to turn his life around. From what I've gathered, he was working two jobs and had plans to go back to school. It's just such a devastating waste of potential and promise. This tragic incident not only snuffed out his future but also left a ripple effect on his family and friends. His mother’s recent statements about how proud she was of him resonate so deeply; it must be unimaginably painful to see his life end this way after seeing him strive for better. It's important to remember that he was more than this violent end—he was a son, a friend, and a man trying to make a positive change. My thoughts are with Anthony’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
