I’ve been following the developments of Jessie Ross III's case, and one thing that has piqued my interest is the location of the crime. Troost Avenue is unfortunately known for its crime rate, but the community is tightly-knit and deeply caring. I can’t imagine how the people living in the area must be feeling right now, especially those who frequently visited that particular convenience store, knowing that one of their own was taken so suddenly. It often makes me wonder if upcoming developments or increased policing could eventually change the crime dynamic in such areas. I hope the community can come together to support each other and keep Jessie's memory alive as the investigation continues. And my heart goes out to Jessie’s family as they navigate this unimaginable situation.
