I’ve been thinking a lot about the case of Eric Short Jr., and something that stands out to me is the location where his body was found. East Eleventh Street isn’t exactly bustling, especially around 3 a.m. I wonder if anyone who might have been nearby, maybe someone who couldn’t sleep and heard something unusual, might have information without even realizing it’s important. It's a quiet area, and the smallest detail could make a difference. My heart goes out to Eric’s family and friends. It’s unimaginable what they’re going through, and I sincerely hope someone steps forward soon with information that can help bring them some peace and justice for Eric. If you were in or around Weldon on that morning and saw or heard anything, please consider reaching out to the detectives or Crimestoppers.
