I’ve been following the case in Hancock, Vermont, and I can’t stop thinking about the circumstances leading up to that terrible morning. It’s so distressing to learn that there was an ongoing conflict between Howard Doyle and Tanner Leary, especially considering their skirmish just days before the tragedy. ?️ It’s really troubling how quickly things escalated to violence. From what I gathered, Doyle was trying to be a peacemaker and smooth over some family issues. The fact that he took the initiative to drive to Leary’s property to resolve matters speaks volumes about his intentions. Yet, it turned out so catastrophically. ? Living in small towns, it’s common for everyone to know each other’s business, which sometimes amplifies conflicts like this. It’s hard not to think about how these underlying issues reached a breaking point. My heart goes out to Doyle’s family, who tried to intervene and prevent it all from going this far. I hope justice is served, but I also wish this sheds light on the importance of addressing conflicts before they spiral out of control. Let’s hope the community can come together for healing. ??
