It's so tragic that Asia Monet Stewart lost her life trying to protect her loved ones. What really struck me about this case is the unbelievable courage Asia showed that night. After a grueling 16-hour shift, instead of heading home to rest, she stepped into a volatile situation with nothing but the intention to help. It tells you so much about her character and her capacity for love and sacrifice. There's been a lot of discussion about the altercation itself and how things escalated so quickly, but I think we shouldn't lose sight of what Asia tried to do. It's a reminder of the selfless ways people can act in the face of conflict. To hear about her children and the pain her family is going through is incredibly sad, and I can only hope they find some peace in knowing she acted out of deep care and protection for her family. Does anyone know if there's a fund or any support being organized for her kids? They’re so young and have their whole lives ahead of them - any bit of support could really help cushion the difficult road they have without their mom.
