I can't even begin to imagine the pain Vasyl's family is going through right now. It's devastating to hear about someone like him, who came to the U.S. seeking peace and a fresh start, only to meet such a tragic end. The fact that two teenagers have been arrested in connection to this case leaves me with so many questions. What could possibly drive 17-year-olds to such violence? It’s a reminder of how complex the societal issues we face today really are. I hope justice is served, and that this incident sparks more conversations around youth violence and the support systems that could potentially prevent future tragedies. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Vasyl's loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.
