I keep thinking about what Oscar and the other victim's families must be going through right now. Losing loved ones so suddenly and in such a violent way is unimaginable. The fact that they have to deal with this rollercoaster of emotions—from initially thinking someone was caught to now being back at square one—must be incredibly difficult. It's a jarring reminder of how quickly things can turn in an investigation, especially when the initial suspect ended up being released after new evidence came to light. I also wonder how this affects the community's sense of safety and trust in the process. It must be hard to feel secure when there’s still a killer out there, and knowing that the person initially arrested wasn’t the culprit might shake people’s confidence in finding justice. I hope people continue to come forward with information and that the real perpetrator is found soon. Supporting each other and staying vigilant seem more important than ever. My thoughts are with everyone involved in this case, especially the victims' friends and families.
